Lifetime prepaid vs yearly hosting in India: which billing fits

Yearly keeps cash flow light. Lifetime prepaid is one-time for the same sites, SSD, and mailboxes. A plain compare so freelancers and small businesses in India pick the billing that fits — not a “forever” pitch.

Yearly and Lifetime prepaid are two ways to pay for the same shared package — not two different products. Sites, SSD, mailboxes, cPanel, free SSL, and unmetered bandwidth match on each tier. What changes is when you pay and how much cash you lock in up front.

This post is for freelancers, students, and small businesses in India who already know roughly which size they need (Starter / Growth / Pro) and are stuck on billing. If you still need the size pick first, read Starter vs Growth vs Pro, then come back here.

The numbers side by side

Yearly (10× monthly — two months effectively included):

  • Starter — ₹490/year · 1 site · 5 GB SSD · 1 mailbox
  • Growth — ₹690/year · 5 sites · 20 GB SSD · 5 mailboxes
  • Pro — ₹990/year · unlimited sites · 50 GB SSD · unlimited mailboxes

Lifetime prepaid (one-time prepaid for that package on our platform — not “forever”):

  • Lifetime Starter — ₹1,999 one-time · same limits as Starter
  • Lifetime Growth — ₹2,999 one-time · same limits as Growth
  • Lifetime Pro — ₹4,999 one-time · same limits as Pro

Monthly stays available too (₹49 / ₹69 / ₹99) if you are still testing. Full cards: pricing. Lifetime prepaid cards and order path: lifetime hosting (store: Lifetime prepaid store).

Same resources. Different cash flow.

People often ask which option is “cheaper.” That depends on how long you will keep the same package — and whether you can comfortably pay once.

Roughly, Lifetime prepaid is in the ballpark of about four years of yearly on Starter and Growth, and about five years on Pro (₹1,999 ÷ ₹490 ≈ 4; ₹2,999 ÷ ₹690 ≈ 4.3; ₹4,999 ÷ ₹990 ≈ 5). That is a break-even sketch, not a guarantee of years of service, and not a “pay once, host forever” claim. Lifetime prepaid means the package is prepaid for the life of that plan on our shared hosting platform — while we operate that platform. Fair-use and the acceptable use rules still apply.

So the real question is not “which saves the most on a spreadsheet.” It is:

  1. Do you want small, predictable renewals?
  2. Or are you happy to prepay once for that same package and stop thinking about annual hosting renewals?

When yearly makes more sense

Pick yearly when:

  • Cash flow matters more than one big payment. ₹490–₹990/year is easier for many freelancers and small shops than ₹1,999–₹4,999 in one go.
  • The project may change size. A client site might leave; you might need more sites next year and want to reassess Growth vs Pro without a large prepaid already spent.
  • You are still learning the stack. WordPress, DNS, and mailboxes take a few months to settle. Yearly (or even monthly) keeps the commitment matched to that learning curve.
  • You prefer the main catalog path. Monthly and yearly are the default on pricing. Lifetime prepaid is a separate one-time option for people who already know they want that billing style.

Yearly is not a “weak” choice. For a lot of real businesses in India, a clear annual bill is the healthy one.

When Lifetime prepaid makes more sense

Pick Lifetime prepaid when:

  • You already know the tier (Lifetime Starter, Lifetime Growth, or Lifetime Pro) and you expect to keep that package for years.
  • You want one invoice, not another hosting renewal on the calendar every year.
  • You can pay ₹1,999 / ₹2,999 / ₹4,999 without stressing cash needed for ads, inventory, or freelancers.
  • You understand it is prepaid for the life of the plan on our platform — same sites / SSD / mailboxes as the matching yearly tier, same cPanel and free SSL — not a forever promise and not a free upgrade when catalogs change later.

Name the product correctly when you order or write to us: Lifetime Starter, Lifetime Growth, or Lifetime Pro. Do not call a prepaid plan “Starter” alone — that name is the monthly/yearly SKU on pricing.

A simple decision checklist

  1. Still unsure about 1 site vs 5 vs unlimited? Fix the tier first on pricing or the which-plan guide. Billing comes second.
  2. Need flexible cash and possible plan changes? → Yearly (or monthly while you test).
  3. Sure of the tier, happy to prepay once, want to skip yearly renewals? → Matching Lifetime prepaid package on lifetime hosting.
  4. Still split? Write what you will host and your budget via contact or WhatsApp — we will point you at one billing path, not a pitch deck.

Refunds and prepaid rules (soft pointer)

Monthly and yearly shared hosting and Lifetime prepaid do not share the same refund window. Lifetime prepaid has 10-day prepaid rules on our Terms / Refund pages. Read those before you pay a one-time amount. We are not restating the full policy here — the legal pages are the source of truth.

Moving a site either way

Billing choice does not change migration. Your first paid order (yearly or Lifetime prepaid) includes one free migration for WordPress or a normal static site. It is WhatsApp-guided after payment — not automatic, and not email moves from every old host. Details: migrate.

Pick billing that fits, then pay

  • Want renewals in small annual chunks? Open pricing, pick Starter, Growth, or Pro, choose yearly, and pay.
  • Want one-time prepaid for the same package? Open lifetime hosting, pick Lifetime Starter, Lifetime Growth, or Lifetime Pro, and pay (or use the Lifetime prepaid store).
  • Questions before you commit cash? Contact or WhatsApp with the tier you have in mind.

The panel, SSL, and limits stay the same either way. Choose the billing that matches your cash flow and how long you expect to keep that package — not a slogan.

Pick a plan, then pay
